Through the Geometry node in Blender, generative architecture can be created. By inputting parameters such as length, width, and height, buildings of different sizes can be quickly produced, saving a lot of time in 3D modeling that involves repetitive operations. The more sophisticated the model, the more parameters can be adjusted, allowing for more detailed variations in the architecture.
The following video explains the parametric building generation method very well.
This topic is quite popular; on the internet, many Blender masters have shared generative architecture of this type. The following introduces 5 resources that are not only free but of high quality, ready for immediate use upon download.
Procedural Hong Kong building
First, let’s introduce the detailed and extremely rich Procedural Hong Kong building. This set of Geometry nodes is configured very comprehensively, allowing you to change everything from a single-story building to a super-sized multi-dwelling complex by simply setting parameters.
For detailed instructions on how to perform the operation, please visit the creator's ArtStation page for more information.

This model provides a wide range of controllable parameters. The units in an apartment building can be seen as having distinct characteristics, with different variations in air conditioning locations, window shapes, shading devices, and clothes drying racks. The following image is a quick build of two buildings using this model. Through the many details on the building, it presents a high-quality rendering that is difficult to distinguish between real and fake.

Procedural buildings with Geometry Nodes
The following model also provides a quick way to design building nodes of various styles. Since it also provides additional parameters such as floor height, unit width, and first-floor height, it is especially suitable for use as a skeleton to replace your own-designed buildings.

By modifying his control nodes and replacing the model’s appearance, I also generated this photo of the building. I added some advanced parameters to control the lighting and curtains, which also gave the building more variation.

Blender Geometry Nodes Anime Building 1/3
The next set, according to the manufacturer’s description, is inspired by the architectural forms in Japanese animation, hence featuring an external staircase; its style is also more suitable for use in Asian cities.

The three sets above are Blender files with built-in generative nodes; in addition to designing these nodes for the building, another important aspect is the 3D model, which allows the building to take on various forms. The following provides two resources that can be used and is shared with you.
Post USSR builder
This set is exactly what the initial video described. He also provided a node design, unfortunately it only supports versions before Blender 2.93. It cannot be used after version 3. However, the model assets he brought with him are still usable, and he has also provided a random number generation mechanism for the light state in the window glass shader, which makes the building appear more natural. The following image shows each individual block before the building was generated; after the node, it will be transformed into a complete building.

After using the generative nodes introduced earlier, the blocks were assembled to form a complete building.

After gaining a deeper understanding and familiarity with the nodes, you can also add additional architectural elements such as the drainage pipes at the four corners; this principle is also applied, automatically changing with the height of the floor.

NEOCLASSICAL MODULAR BUILDING VOL. 4 From Quixel
The final set was originally intended for use with the Unreal engine, so the model provides a variety of detailed settings, allowing you to choose the appropriate file size to download.

The image below is the result of me applying the building generation node. You can see that the three different buildings, each with different parameters, are all produced from the same node design. As you can see, that saves a lot of time in model creation, right???
